Saperavi is an intriguing varietal.  It is one of the only grape varieties to have pigment within the flesh, not just the skin. Picture a soft fruit forward wine similar to merlot with a punch of ribena blackcurrenty goodness hitting your palate. We love this wine, its becoming very popular and we plan on making it for a long time to come.
